The Tabby Awards 2015 competition launches
The only competition for the best tablet apps and games is now calling for entries from across the globe.
(Jan. 26, 2015) The Tabby Awards, the global awards program for the best tablet apps and games, is launching its 2015 competition today.

Otto Toth, chair of the Tabby Awards 2015 judging panel
Submitted apps will be reviewed by the mobile app experts who make up the Tabby Awards’ independent judging panel. Otto Toth, Chief Technology Officer of The Huffington Post, is chairing the panel. “I’m honored to chair this year’s Tabby Awards for the best tablet apps and games”, said Otto Toth. “All around the world, people are demanding greater mobility, and tablets are representing more and more of total media consumption. High quality mobile apps are essential to providing good user experience, and I’m excited to review the best apps with the rest of the judging panel.”
The international judging panel will first select Nominees and then a Winner in each of 52 categories. CBS, Disney, Electronic Arts, Flipboard, National Geographic, Nickelodeon, Rosetta Stone, Thomson Reuters as well as many independent mobile publishers were honored in previous Tabby Awards competitions.
The public will also have their say during the final round: App users and gamers will elect a Users’ Choice among Nominees in each category via an online vote. Almost 100,000 public votes were registered in the Tabby Awards first public poll last year.
